I was lookking for any information on how to get this machine a little snappier, and faster. Pipe? Clutch kit? I am happy with the machine it does 48mph now. I was considering to trade my 99 off for a new scram 400 4x4 for $1800 to boot. After last weekend I rode my buddies new one and impressed.. but then rode a Banshee, and that really went. So what I was thinking is to do some mods to the xplr and go buy a used Banshee to add to my collection. Any ideas will be helpful.

 

Hey Bob, I have a xplr 300 also, and recently posted the same question. It appears that there isn't any modifications in the market place for this particular quad. I agree with you that it wouldn't take very much to make this machine plenty powerful. The only thing I can pass on is what I heard, and that is to upgrade to a larger machine if you want more punch. I'm looking into a 400 at the present time, but trying to decide if it's worth $2000 dollars to beat my friends to the end of the trail.......Good luck
