I went to my local dealer today and traded in my 99 Xplorer for a black and silver Sportsman 600. I will give you guys a full report after A little saddle time. I have been looking closely at the Kawa 650 but the limited ground clearance, hard seat and stiff suspension made me go with the 600.

you shouldn't be disapointed about the power handling, but maybe the 2 stroke sound and smell will miss you, congrats you bought the right one.

I cannot wait to ride one. My dealer has a few in the crate that have not yet made it to the floor. I hear it is snappier than the 700? You will be impressed by the Rawhide tires. My 2002 has Rawhides and they really do well off road.

Paul

If you are going to plow, I suggest the first mod will be to bypass the reverse overide. Thats the first thing I have done to all of my polaris's, the second is to replace the stock bumper mounted light with some 55 watt halogen driving lights

My 600cc 120hp Triple touring Arctic Cat will take care of my daily dose of 2-stroke.

I plowed for 3 years and finally gave up. Not because it did'nt work well, I just did'nt have the time and I have to travel sometimes for up to 2 weeks at at time which leaves my wife and daughter stranded if a major snowfall happens.
