Does anyone know what normal PSI range a 1999 Scrambler 400 should have on the top end? I had to take my bike to the dealer because the bike seems to have an electrical problem but they called yesterday and said PSI was only around 100. They want to tear down the top-end. I think they are just looking to make an extra buck. I just had the top end rebuilt by RCR last fall and have been extra cautious since. I only have put about 200 miles on the bike since the rebuild. I am skeptical of what my dealer is telling me.

Look out! Get you own compression tester they are easy to use and handy when bying a used machine of anykind.I don't know what you compression is ment to be but on snowmachine it's at least 120psi -140psi if yours is at 100psi it would not run well at all but the compression is a easy thing you should check for yourself.
