Being a former everything owner, oh Raptor owner, I just put the outerwear from a Raptor K&N on my Dale K&N. It's very tight, but does work. Go buy one!!! That would be the outerwear for the stock size in the Raptor not the Prodesign one...

Rocky Mountain ATV is selling them (K&N filters). Currently there is no outerwear available for the filter. Sandgod just stated that he used a stock K&N style outerwear off a Raptor and it worked so. If you want one order a cannondale K&N from rocky or anyone who carries them and just order a outerwear for a stock Raptor K&N filter.

I might be stupid, but why do you need an outer wear for the K&N? its under the plasic, plus the outer wear will slow down air flow?
right?

OK so K&N DOES make an air filter for the cannondale? seems funny cause I havent heard a thing about it and Iam here all the time. I believe you and I am happy, but it just surprises me

Well the outerwear helps by keeping the larger pieces of dirt and mud from clogging up the paper element, by using this most of the big pieces well hit and fall off the outerwear instead of getting stuck in the fins of the paper element. It will reduce air flow a small amount but not much.

I didn't hear anything on hear about a K&N until I acidently ran across it on Rocky's website. Then I posted a question in here on it. I think it's under a different filter post call K&N filter set-up. They were talking about a moto with a banshee prodesign K&N rig up on it.

ok, ive read that, but K&N specifically had NOT made a "connondale filter" as of yet. I think ill wait for K&N to make one, with a waranty and all, thanks for your info!

Trout

Read the last post on the K&N filter set-up or go to this link
K&N Filter @ Rocky Mountain ATV

K&N makes a filter for the cannondales, just not a outerwear yet.

Sorry for the late reply. A weekend of racing mx then duneing. K&N's are out for the Dales and the Raptor outerwear will fit the C-Dale K&N filter... The filters are 45 bones from RMATV.
