I'm thinking about buy a sportsman 700 but i have some Questions.

1 is the differnential any good. going through small creek with a little bit of incline will that be abny problem.is it bad for light hills
2 i am going to buy some mods for it so what are the best pipes or kits
3 clutch kits will they take any speed? or acceleration.
4 are itp c series rims lighter than stock rims

I own a 03 and just purchased a MBRP pipe. I think it was the right choice. I would recommend it.

The SP 700 rims are heavy but can stand up to some serious abuse. The itp series c rims are lighter than the stock SP 700 rims.If you get a clutch kit get the pipe from the same company you got the clutch kit from.Ex: HSP, HPD, Aeen,RCR

Because the stock tires and rims are so heavy, you can put on taller tires on aluminum rims and not gain any weight. But you will improve GC. This is the only atv that can do this.

I'v had mine for a year now.Had the water pump problem, fix it myself with silicon 8months ago,its still holding up.KNOCK ON WOOD!! Also had to replace the shift shaft in it {the signs are hard to get in and out of gear}, thats because i do a lot sand & water riding. I put bigger but lighter tires and rims on it, 38MM carb. , clutch kit an aaen pipe. She sounds sweat with that pipe and when you hit the throddle you better hold on.

ps. Anyone knows what the Rincon will do with the 700 ?

HOW DID YOU GET THE 38 TMX TO WORK ON THE SP700, I HAVE A HEAVILY MODIFIED SP700 WE ARE TRYING TO GET THE TMX 38 TO WORK ON. HAVING TROUBLE GETTING IT OFF IDLE TO WIDE OPEN THROTTLE. ENGINE BOGS AND DIES IF YOU HIT THE THROTTLE WIDE OPEN FROM IDLE. RUNS GREAT AT MID RANGE AND TOP END.
