Default Scrambler clutch cover

My outer clutch cover seems to be warped or something because it is rubbing on the clutch at idle. When anyone else had to replace thiers, did you use the new style cover or go back to the original design?

Anyone have one for sale? These are expensive.

The '01 Scrambler 500 4x4 that I had rubbed for a while when it was new but quit after a while. Maybe it just needs to wear itself in to the cover to get it's groove? I don't know, thats the problem with plastic!

If it's rubbing, you've either landed on it (stepped on) or overheated the clutches. On the modded units, we run the 500 Scrambler covers, they have a larger opening for better cooling. Not sure what year the larger opening came out, but you should probably remove the cover and do a little investigative work.
