Raptor, Pred, or 400?!

Yeah, I really hate the freaking polaris's. I mean, the stock bottom end is still there and it never falls below 4500 rpms and stays most of it's life at 7500-7700 rpms. It's bored .140 over and that big slug doesnt get going fast enough. 75hp isnt enough.I really hate it. I have to say, though, I would take it over a Craptor. he he he.

uh-huh? Great. Not to insightfull et bansheeman? A banshee is better then a 400. OK. Go plow some snow with your banshee and get back to me. Or take it mud-bogging, perhaps rick climbing in Moab, camping, or pehaps use it to haul someting into our out of the woods. Say a 300 lb deer. geez.
Pboy:
Much depends on what you want to do. The no-longer made 400 4x4 scrambler was a nice all-purpose machine. NOT a high performance race bike, and never gonna be, but capable enough and certainly more flexible then a banshee. It could do about everything. In fact, I've talked a bunch of people into them (while warning them about maintenance costs).
I don't own a raptor or a predator ( I own both a highly mod'd 'she and a scambler), so I can't comment much, but think of it as a new age, heavy banshee. But really, you need to decide your mission. In all candor, if I didn't need or want a 4x4 I'd not own a polaris. That said, the part time 4x4 nature of the scambler is VERY nice, the 400 is easy to tweak cheaply, and many folks to find them reliable enough.
Again, decide your mission first.

Must be very boring on the other brands forums.Just noticed a lot of the replies are from persons who don't like Polaris atv's.(or own them either) Personally i have a hard time commenting on something i have never owned. Just my two cents.

It depends on what you want! The polaris is quick and the no shifting is nice in the trails it is also pretty comfortable. It feels heavy and doesn't really handle or jump that great on the performance side. The Raptor is much faster (I do not want to here my modded this is faster than that, I'm talking stock) and handles better. It is more work in the trails with the clutch and gears. The Raptor seat feels like your are riding on plastic after a couple hours seat time. The vibrating comment is bull. It may vibrate more than a z400 but no way more than a Scrambler 400. The new predator looks sweet and if it can do what they say it may be a great choice but only a very few can comment on those, that would need to be a wait and see. I think the Z400 is also a great choice (are we lucky now or what we actually have choices) It is light weight handle nice has a plush suspension and its pretty damn quick.
