The dealer wants $6700 out the door for a 2003 Sportsman 500ho. No accessories included. Is this a good price compared to what others have paid for a 2003?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thanks for the input guys.
Question: If the price is $6599 msrp, leave out the prep, add the tax of ~$400, The total is $7,000.
At $6700 they've gone down $300.
What 's the wholesale on the sp500? I know I saw a web site a few weeks ago that will tell you if you pay a small fee.
I don't expect them to go down to $5800 'out the door' until next summer when the 2003's have depreciated and the 2004's are about to be released.
I don't have much experience with this, what am I missing?
Thanks

The dealer near us said $5999 without batting an eye or trying to talk him down any. Around here they don't add on any prep or anything besides sales tax. We were also quoted $6500 for the 600.

I do not think that is too bad of a price. You should be able to get between $200 and $500 off of the retail price. Do not pay set up fees because it is included in the retail price. What color have you decided on?

I forgot that there may be a $100 - $150 rebate to the dealer. It was in effect a few weeks ago when I was doing some shopping at my dealer. If so, you should be able to get out for @ $6500.
