when i put on my 22" haulers i went with 43/14 and felt it was to low, like it alot better at 40/14 then you don't need a new chain.

Default 15\43, new chain?

I run 15-43s with 22s and my chain is 110 links. I went with a new chain and sprockets that way I can switch back without much hastle and no need to add an extra master link that can break. A little spendy but it cost money to do things right.

I put on a 15/41 combo. No new chain needed. I got a good portion of the overall benefit without a good chunk of the cost (chain). My $.02.
