What did you do with your air box? I know some have made it a storage box. How did you close up the holes? Do you think I need to rejet after the install? Did you put filters on the ends of the 2 hoses left over? Seemed to run very good when I test rode it last night!! Big improvement. Thanks.

After going to a carb mount K&N filter I made my old air box into a storage box.
It's simple:
Remove the 2 supply and 1 return snorkles and purchase a couple of Power Aid drinks (the smaller size ones). The caps come in different colors and fit perfectly into the 2 supply snorkle holes. Use the existing clamps to hold them in place.
Next, go to Home Depot (Plumbing Dept) and purchase a plastic drain cap for the large hole. Measure the hole before you go. Silcone in it place.
The two hoses (one from the carb & the other from the crank case) get small Breather Filters. AutoZone sells them. You may also need a connector from the hoses to your new breather filters. Home Depot has plastic connectors that are used for sprinkler (drip) systems in the plumbing section. Zip tie them to the frame. I think Outware now sells a small cover for the breathers. I purchased some @ the recent Sand Sports Super Show.

You may need to re-jet after the filter install and maybe adjust your needle position. Check your plugs.
