You've picked the two best kids quads to get but finding one for under 1K will be next to impossible. Either one of those bikes will sell used for $1,800 to $2,000. A great deal would be $1,500. Only way to find those for much less would be either very old models, in poor condition or both. Unless you get real lucky!

To stay in your price range you should look lnto the older Yamaha Moto4 s they range from a 2stroke 60 to a 100cc Champ withhhh aa 80 cc inbetween which are 4strokes.Youu may be able to find a used 125 Breeze in the 1200-1500 range and I can tell you that little machine is great but has more power but it isss for an older child or small adult.
