I have it on mine, seam to work good for the money. I had the engine built by Trinity at the same time so hard to tell if it will make a difference by its self but If Harry say's it will help trust him. Harry knows his stuff when it comes to mods.
I had to motor built for TT racing and it Screams!!!

It helps swirl the air and fuel to mix and burn better.

on teh honda r's a cr250 boot is used when using an aftermarket reed( w/ reed spacer). the cr250 boot changes the angle of teh carb and allows it to pass to the side of teh shock.. it isnt perfect, it still requires a little muscle to fit it in, but it helps. also remember that when you use a reed spacer it in effect pushed back your whole intake assembly so fittiing it into your stock airbox will be very difficult. ESR makes an airbox eliminator kit. you may want to look into it

I have a 44mm on my zilla, i use no airbox and have a large peace of hose and a 45 degree pvc elbow with a KN on it. Works good, keeps it off of my shock. Soon I am gonna fabricate a box that sits far back and haves a pipe or hose that makes its way to the carb. Just incase it ever sees mud.
