Aftermarket steering stem (Need one asap)
#2
I do believe you're right. After I broke my back, I was concerned with getting healed. Now I'm trying to get my quad back together.
No one has one. (I'm not sure if any have been shipped yet, or what!)
I'll probably just put some welds on my old one and pray...for now.
Thanks anyway.

I've been trying to get a extended steering stem from roll design for 3 months. They keep saying next week, next week, ect. I finally gave up on them. So don't beleive what they say.

My friend has a shop and he made like 8 of them. They ended up costing him alot, alittle more than he wanted to spend.
He has 3 extras he might part with. They are chromed and nickel plated, pretty beefy. I can pass on his number if you are interested.

I had mine fixed for $65 and chromed for $50. They cut the ends off, replaced the tube with chromoly and welded it back together. The steering stop needed to be straightened too. For $115 it looks like a $350 aftermarket. Any frame shop can do this work (it's the same diameter as the Banshee so the tubing is common) and make it any length you want.
Put a Roll Design sticker on it and no one will know the difference.
Oh yeah...I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. FEDEX can't even match that.
Metal Tech in Glendale AZ are the guys.
