Which one

I am looking to buy a new atv in the 300 to 400 4x4 class. I have looked at all models. I have narrowed it down to Kodiak 400, the Eiger 400, or the polaris magnum 330. I like them all but any advice would be good. The magnum has the best price but smaller engine. I will be using it for light work, trail riding, hunting, and snow plowing. What do you think?

The Kodiak is my suggestion to you. Awesome automatic that has proven to be the most reliable of all automatics offered by any company.
The Eiger is a great quad but all have a bad reputation for controls of all things. The shift linkage design on these machines leave alot to be desired and regular maintenance is mandatory to keep it functioning properly. [RE: Broken shift cables and connectors]
I wont comment on the Polaris.

Atvbuyer62,
I would tell you to look at the Kodiak 450 auto 4x4 that is new out this year by Yamaha. Although I am getting a 600Twin by Polaris, I looked at the 450 and if you are entertaining getting the 400 by all means, go to the 450. You have a better quad for only a few hundred more. You get the digital gauges just like the Grizzly 660 and you get a 421cc engine. I have heard only good things about it so I would again suggest to look at it over the 400 if you ultimately decide to buy a Yamaha.
Are you financing or paying cash.....lots of companies are offering promotional financing now and could be a good time to use it if you have no other plan in place...ride on

I looked into the kodiak 450, but for $6200-$6500 its in a total different league, I would just buy the Praire 650 instead, for that kind of money, I settled for $4500 Eiger, most bang for the buck.
Kodiak 450 is new and in demand, do you know what that means for your wallet?

Kodiak 400. Came very close to owning one. Chose it over the other 400's. Ended up with a Rubicon.

remember, for snow plowing you need traction... from my opinion the polaris 4X4 system is the best.
i would go with the magnum... but you gotta take in consideration that i'm a polaris man :-)
but 330 is not very big !!!
my opinion.
