Default Constant mesh tranny?

Constant mesh tranny means that all the gears are meshed. For every gear on the main shaft there is one that it meshes with on the countershaft. They are all turning when you move but only one gear set is syncronized with the main shaft at any given time. Its hard to explain and much easier to understand if you look at a transmission once it is opened up.
