First I was thinking of selling the snowmobile and buying a new one but we havent got much snow so i thought a while and finnaly i looked in a old dirt wheels and i noticed a ds with skis so i decided to keep the RMK and jut make my quads winter ready to! i took the skis off a 97 ski-doo mxz and i am gonna use those on the tecate and i already have the old rmk skis on my mojave it works but i wanna try it in alot of snow so i think i might get some paddles to go with the skis

Can't you buy conversion kits from a quad to snowmobile?

They make a kit with a heavy duty rear axle that drives bogie wheels and a triangle shaped track on each side instead of a wheel, and skies up front, but that kit runs about 2600 bucks, what albabanshee is doing is WAY cheaper, and will work really good. For that kind of cash, I would buy a good used sled and leave the quad alone, instead of swapping parts around on the quad.
