Default All new low low emission 250r?

I was recently looking at boat motors and saw that tohatsu has got a new two stroke 40 horse that has very low emissions and was told by the dealer that is runs cleaner than the four stroke. I remember a while back when honda was talking about a new low emission "R" motor but then nothing else was said. With the size of the new four strokes it cant be a safety factor anymore that is stopping them from bringing the ultimate "R" back. I think we may be close to getting our wish.

I remember reading an article a few years back about Honda making the statement that "honda would not release another 2 stroke engine in a production vehicle"
About the same time that they were tinkering with this low E and v-twin 2 stroker

Crappy news to say the least!

If it's emissions that are stopping the big Manufacturers from making a 2 stroke quad, a low E design would squelch that! The enviro-***** would have to find another excuse!!!!!

My $.02
