Sounds to me like you have a little bit of money to spend on your quad. If that is the case, I would step up to a better quad. the scrambler (I used to have a 400 scrambler) is a heavy machine, don't get me wrong, you can make 'em fast and handle good, but in my opinion your money would be better spent on a more performance oriented machine, then if you desire.....build up from there. just my two cents worth.

Yeah, if you plan on using ANY of that extra power for jumping...ditch the Scrammy. I love my machine but she jumps like a cow.

If you are going to piant the plastics you need to make sure that you use a good flexable enamel paint. Go to Napa or your nearest body shop and ask them. If you use a regular enamel, actylic enamel.or urathane the piant will crack right off. Body shops have a additive to add to an enamel paint to make it harden and still be flexable. Plastics are hard to paint. Once you wreck or hit a branch, It cracks and will keep cracking. Polaris has just about any other color you want and you can order other decal kits to trick out your bike. Take a look at TALONHAWKS bad a$$ Trailblazer. He customized all the graphics himself along with his brothers Scrammy 400.
