Well all, I'm psyched. I just got myself some stuff and I am ready to begin instalation. I am lookin for any advice on all the different parts of this. Even if I haven't mentioned it and it comes to your mind drop me a message. Well now I'll tell you what I got.


REALLY NEED HELP WITH CARB. Basically I have no Idea how to jet it. all the help I can get would be greatly apreciated

Quad:
2001 Yamaha Wolverine, skidplates, stock tires, stock bars.

What I'm installing:

- FMF Megamax Exaust (with disk system)
- Alba Torque stuffer
- K&N filter and Outerwears
- Dynojet Jetting kit
- Uni pre-filter 1" filters (drill one inch holes in airbox and place miniatre plastic with uni foam filters in the holes --pack of 6--)

- Moose blue handguards
- Renthal Bars
- Factory 909 blue/black grips
- Moose skidplate foam
- 2 bungee mesh

Thats what I have. The first part of the list is what I really need the advice on instalation, especally the torque stuffer and THE JETTING OF THE CARB. The airbox modding is somthing else any words of wisdom would be apreciated about. Well past this point I don't have much else to say yet. Thanks for all your help.

the uni vents are really easy to install. like the package says, just drill 6 one inch holes in the lid of your airbox and these vents will kind of "snap" in. these vents can go anywhere on the airbox or airbox lid. i put them on the lid because if i did not want to ruin the whole box if i did not like them in there, i would of just ruined the lid. just make sure you don't go bigger than one inch or the vents will be loose and may fall out or even let dirt go in the air box if you are worried about that. i have never dealt with the dynojet jet kits. if you have never done this before, take the carb off so you have plenty of room to work with. the mainjets are usually on the bottom of the carb. you will just have to take the bowl off and you will see the mainjet. as for the needle, on mine you have to take the top of the carb off to get to it. i don't know if you are changing the pilot jet or not but that is on the bottom also. the thing is, i run a honda and they have keihin carbs and i am assuming you have a mikuni carb. i have never worked on a mikuni but i am sure the concept is similar. i would probally ask someone in the yamaha forum exactly where the jets are located and there is a good chance someone in their may have pics of a carb similar to yours. as for the kandn and outerwear, thats easy. take your old filter off and pop this one on. as for the torque stuffer, i don't know exactly what that is so i can't help you there. is there another name for that or is it just something i have not heard of?
