Default 650 Radiator

well I did it....I popped a hole in the radiator riding yesterday. Looking online the OEM part is 451.00$, uh I wasnt ready for that. Any one out there know of an aftermarket radiator for the 650? The OEMs are always getting plugged with mud and are probably somewhat undersized for the 650. If Im going to fork out that kind of cash I would really rather buy something better than what came stock. Im going to have to do a short term repair until after the hollidays but I might as well start looking and saving now.

How big of a hole, if you only broke a couple of cores cut them off , open them up, squeeze them gently about 1/2" below cut and fill with soldier. works fine for car rad. If not repairable get a price from a rad shop to replace the broken cores. not likely you need to replace whole rad.

I had a stick go through the radiator on my old Polaris and took out 2 of the tubes.
I took it to a rad shop and they fixed it for 20 bucks.

I will be taking the radiator to a shop in the morning, hopefully the area that is damaged can be repaired. This is my first radiator problem...knock on wood I have never had one go bad or get a hole in the past (autos or quads).

You can punch in pretty much any Kawi part # and get a price. Its a nice site to buy from and also to research prices.
