considering a new sp600, should I be concerned that the twins do not have a backup ignition?

Can they be roll started?

I have been round the Polaris ATV's for a few years, first riding with guys who had, then getting my own. Never had to use the pull cord. Usually you see the problem coming and get it fixed (ie sluggish starter or battery. As for the question of roll starting... Can't be done, no way to get the clutches to engage the belt because nothing is spinning fast enough to close the clutches.
