is there a company that makes a better 440 or are they all about the same

now i am talking a 440 with carb cam pipe valve job all that kinda stuff

anyone stand out as better or worse

 

There is a ton of info on this topic. To be researched in the forums. If you want to pay someone to do the work for you then Sparks or Tom Carlson are the only ones I would have do it. I wouldnt really want to pay someone besided Curtis or Tom to port my head. Sparks makes awesome cams, exhausts, and a hd cam chain. If you want a good con rod get a Carillo. Personally the Keihin FCR carbs are the best 4 stroke carbs you can buy.

A couple things to realize about getting a top engine builder to work on your motor is expect to wait and expect to pay alot! My original Sparks 440EX cost over $3000, and I had to wait almost 6 months for it to be finished.
