what I need is information on sp 500, HO 500 and sp 700, 600 cdi rev limiter speeds, can they be raised or eliminated completely. If so, does anyone know who can do this? I have a modified 700 that is hitting the limiter quick and it is fully shifted out clutch wise. HELP!!!!!!!!

 

If you put the cdi from the 600 Sportsman on the 700 it has a higher rev limit than the 700. It also has a better curve for the bottom end.
I plugs right in place of the 700 CDI.

QUESTION: I've hit the rev limiter on my CBR, so I think I know what it feels like ... I've NOT hit the rev limiter on my sp400 .... even though i was full throttle on black top .... What's wrong!!!????

Modman, what are the specs on you SP500? I would be interested in knowing what you have in it. I want to start digging in the motor on my scram, as as of now, the FST600 is my only option
