Recon top speed is 49 miles an hour.

I have never had a ground clearance problem yet.

I have hauled deer, tree stands, logs no problems.

This is a great 4 wheeler

I must agree with deerhunter. Although 49 mph is a little optimistic! I love my Recon!

The recons aerodynamics are only so so, that's 49 MPH in a free fall.

I have four of them.

Top speed=45MPH
GROUND CLEARANCE has NEVER been an issue, the quad is so lite, you can lift the thing over most anything.
HAULING is EXCELLANT!

Clearance is rarely a problem. And if it is, the bike is so light (compared to those hulking 600 lb utility beasts that are so common), you just pick it up and carry it over the obstacle.

Well..... now I'm not sure how reliable GPSs are????? My brother clocked me with his GPS on a flat red cinder road doing 52 mph. I'm a lighter rider, maybe therein lies the difference?

Clearance has never been an issue. Like the others have said, if you do find yourself in a situation, it's easy to get off and lift yourself over (even for a female person). I have ridden with a group of the bigger 4x4 machines, and they can't make it through a lot of the tighter places that I can go with the Recon.

My brother and I hunt with the Recon, and it will pull or haul anything that has needed to be hauled or pulled so far.

One more testimonial here for the all-around functionality of the Recon. Great little machine!

As far as hauling goes. I at one time transported myself 275lbs and another guy prob 300+lbs down to our riding area on my Recon. It did fine, even got into high gear. Bar none, the Recon is one of the best all around reasonably priced quads to have.

I have a recon. The speed is good enough for getting you around.

It will go over anything and if it gets stuck just pick it up.

You name it I've pulled it with my Recon. Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado ext cab, big logs, other ATVs.

I treat my recon like a sport bike and I can usually keep up with all the sports in the trails.
