I ordered my 22x11x10x9 paddle extremes from Jim's about 3 1\2 weeks ago. He said that I would have them by last friday. I just called and he said that he hasn't even recieved them yet. So that means I won't get them for another couple days ATLEAST. He does have the 8 and 10 paddle in stock. Should I just go with those? Will I lose any performance?

Help what should I do?

 

8 paddle should work great!,, if you have 55hp or more go with the 10 paddle.

I'm planning on getting a piston, and head work done. I'm not sure what kinda hp I'll have. I just don't want to setting for 8 paddle and then regret it later.

 

8 paddle should be enough for what you plan on doing. With the tall steep dunes out thier I would think a 8 paddle would be better so that you can keep the revs up towards the mid-top. 10 paddles will hurt you unless like I said you have big H.P.

If it was me I would choose the 8 paddle.

Actually you should go with thw 12 paddle taller hallers[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] and run TALL gears.LOL

I am running, 23/11/12 9 paddle xtrem haulers, and they work good. But I have raced many DS's with the 22/11/10 8 paddle, and they seem to have a little more topend. I can only assume that it is the paddles, Because I don't believe it could be my FAT A$$ acting like a parachute[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]. LOL.


I am running the modified class, Yes I know I wil get my head kicked in,but I am getting some head work done(stock piston,and cams), so that puts me into the Modified class. Oh well, atleast I can see how the head work improves my quad vs. stock bolt-ons and Monster modified quads.

Do you think that I should hold out for the 9 paddles or go with the 8's. As long as there here for FSW that's all I care about.

And if they come in to late to ship, call me and I will pick them up for you and hand deliver them.(ofcourse that is if you were refering to Jims sandtoys in waynoka).
