Well, I did it !
After some semi-pseudo-scientific research, lurking around here for a month, and getting my pension check in the mail yesterday...
I went out today and came home with a 2003 Rancher ES. I took it straight down to my daughter's place and my 7 year old grandson hopped on his l'il Suzuki and showed Papa a thing or two (the kid drives like a bat outta Hades - dunno where he got that [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] )
Getting that thing into and out of the truck bed was a thrill unto itself. Until today I'd never ridden a quad and it's be since 19 and 74 since I rode a bike.
Dang it, that was Eff-You-In !!! (That spells "FUN" for the phonetic-spelling impaired). I do believe I am going to enjoy my Rancher. Why shucks, I might even use it over on my actual ranch.
To everyone who helped me decide (even the goof-ball who so detests Hondas and the letters "E" and "S" - must be a Sesame Street /wet nappy "thing"), I say thanks for your input and have a Happy, Healthy and Safe New Year ! Let's go ride them quads !

Well, I did it !
Congrats on your purchase. Unfortunantly you will have alot less time to visit these boards now, as it will be quite a feat to pull yourself from your bike!!! Keep us updated on your adventures!!!
