fliping the tires on the Lakota
#1
I have seen postings where some of you have fliped your front tires for a wider stance. I notice that when I am fast on the throtle and then go into a hard turn the front wants to role and dive down, will this help to eliminate this? Also if I do this on the front, should I widen the back? Witch is better fliping or wheel spacers? I read how gaff did his, thats how i'll do mine but only if it will help alot. Will this put too much stress on it and hurt it?
TIRES: what are good tires? I am looking for light and tough.
Who uses the stock shocks and what setting do you have it on?
Problem is I cant leave anything alone, so please help me to make sure I do it right. Thanks.

flipping the fronts was very easy. I had to take the original valve out and install it backwards (superglue the cap on). Then I drilled the rim on the other side and put a new valve stem in there. And just bolt them back up.
The difference is unbievable. Much more stable
I run my shocks with the fronts on the softest setting and I believe the rear on the second notch from the softest. I'm 230 pounds and this still seems a little stiff, but only new shocks would do any better for me.
I haven't widened the rear do to I have to use and control wheel spin for accelleration while racing. It works pretty good and haven't felt I needed the rear widened yet.
As far as tires, any will work better than the stock ones. It's easier to get some shreaders or any mid priced or cheaper tires for now. For the price $200 worth of tires will graetly improve the ride and traction where $400 worth of tires, well just to pricey.
Hope that helps.
