Default question fuel filters

I just bought a Honda Foreman S 450 4wd and where I live the gas is really bad, I want to know if Honda makes a fuel filter, or some type of adaptor for a fuel filter for my model that can be changed out. I need know because its my main mode of transportation. I live in rural Alaska where you can drive atvs on public roads along with cars and snowmachines.

Thanks

Most any of the accessory houses such as Dennis Kirk, Rocky Mountain ATV, etc. carry inline fuel filters ad even auto accessory shops have them. If you get one at an auto shop, just make sure to get one for the right diameter fuel line.

denniskirk.com has a good selection of fuel filters. Some are transparent so see any foreign matter. Theyre disposable at about $2 each

Default question fuel filters

cals400ex do you know what types of fuel filters the dealer sells? Does the dealer just go by the size of your fuel line and takes any ford or chevy fuel filter and hook it on? If you can give me the number to your dealer I would like to ask them some questions. Thanks again, Thomas

P.S. to everyone viewing this board today in Kotzebue, Alaska the temp was -40 with a 10 mile and hour wind chill. There was ice on my front door and hinges, and all my windows were iced close.
