335 Sportsman and high altitude settings
#1
I acquired a 335 Sportsman (2000 model) that came from lower elevation. It runs poorly at 600 feet and I believe it has to do with elevation.
Does anyone know specifically what modifications need to be made for running at 6000 to 9000 feet? The local Polaris dealer wants $250 to change the jets and change the clutch configuration and "make sure everything is right".....I understand the jets needing to be changed, but the clutch needs to be changed also?????
I have a Clymer manual for the 500 Sportsman and I believe I can change out the jets, but to which one??
Thanks
