I would not think you should have any problems just as long you have the rpm's up in the 1400 to 1500 range.

Derbyking- You will like that cam with your motor. To me it makes a better riding quad. Easier to get around. Not always standing straight up.

As long as you add some compression to make up for the loss of low end it works fine. I like it better then the smaller cams in the woods !!

I'm going with a 12.1 piston but can't decide which cam to get. Everybody that has the stage 1 loves it. I want really strong mid range

Patsraptor- I think the stage 2 is over hyped (race cam) It is more biased toward the top-end. Example- If the stock cam peaks at 6500 rpm, the stage 1 is around 7000 and the stage 2 is 7500. I do not have the exact numbers in front of me. Ernie has a 11-1 and a stage 2 cam. I think he is real happy. If i put a stage 1 back in mine it will pop a whellie everytime i give it a little gas. I can put-put around or haul a## on mine. It is very rideable.

Derbyking, I run a stage two Hot Cam and have not any clearance problems with the center valve or guide, or for that fact any of the valves. I also shaved .015 of the head and do not have any problems. The stage two cam has good torque but really good mid and top end. 14mins sold me everything at good prices, nobody could match it.
