Default DIGITAL TACH

I WAS WONDER IF ANYONE HAS USED A DIGITAL TACH OR KNOWS OF A GOOD ONE FOR CLUTCH TUNING?

Get yourself an analogue unit, much easier to keep and eye on. The digital ones normally are flipping though the rpms too fast to make any sense.

I WAS TRYING TO FIND A SELF CONTAINED UNIT. I TOOK ALL THE ELECTRIC OFF AND HAVE NO POWER SOURCE THAT I CAN USE THAT I KNOW OF.

Default DIGITAL TACH

Get a cheap unit from the autoparts store, set it to 4 cyl setting, and hook it up. Hook black to ground, red to ignition on, off of your switch, white to headlights and green to the yellow/red stripe wire coming off of the stator. You can hook it all up under the cowl hood. I use some clear silicone to cover everything to keep it dry. I have washed mine several times and it went through rain at Little Sahara and is still working great. You can see it on my pics. You can do it all for about $30.Bubba
