Default floorboar modification

Hey guys, I have been reading along in these topics for some time now and have yet to have any questions left unanswered, due to the great overall knowledge base, and of course nyrocs site. But now I have one that I havn't seen yet.

Has anybody modified their floor boards at all? I do a lot of riding in very sticky clay and i have a problem with mud piling up on the floor boards. I was considering cutting out larger grooves on mine and adding bracing from the bottom side.

Does anyone have any pictures of what they have done, or any info, good or bad about this subject?

I modified mine. Although I don't think it's exactly what you're talking about. Let's just say my mods were done by Boulders-O-Granite in the Sierras.

I saw some thing about cleats that were modified for Mike penlands' ride , they added about 3" to each side and "made tip ins" and remouted them to the running boards. I was going to make a set for myself.
