Default Finally Got My TL Predator

Picked up my Troy Lee Predator today. I put a swing-arm guard on it, nerf bars, and front grab bar. I also had a Pure Polaris Slip-On Silencer put on. Didn't have much to ride it today, but tested it out a little. It really has some serious power! What kind of octane fuel should I run in it? I'll post pictures on my page later this week. Bearsee, congrats on your new toy, you'll love it!!! I've had my TLD predator since Dec. 10th... Make sure you change oil and filter after 1 hour of use!!! You should run 93 octane fuel for the beast!!!! Also you might want to go through and make sure everything is tight ( hose clamps, drive chain, lugnuts, etc)

I was told by my dealer to use the lower octane fuel in it, 87 to 89 octane.

ProXPred, I will always use 93 octane in my toys, everything of mine runs better with 93 octane. Everybody I know uses 93 octane for their toys also. Every once in awhile I'll even dump in some 104 octane boost just for kicks. ProXPredator, how far are you from BlackRiverFalls Wisconsin? I've taken my Predator over there twice now when it was nice out last week and wow is all I can say!!! BlackRiverFalls is the perfect place to unleash the beast with it's wide open winding trails and mini MX tracks. I have been to BlackRiverFalls 10 times before but the last 2 times on the Predator were by far the best.

I live right on Lake Michigan, I can see it from my house. I'll have to get over there this year and check it out. My friend with his Raptor put 93 in his, and it didn't run as well, backfire and stuff. He was told he would have to re-jet his because of it, or have the valves adjusted.

Congrats on the purchase and enjoy! The manual says you can run 87+, but like they're saying, 91+ is always the way to go, especially in a high performace 4-stroker....
