03' REV LIMITER CDI
#1
Rumor mill has it that for '03 the rev limiter on the baja is the same as the standard model. Can anyone confirm this? Also why is Alba revlimiter so much more than Ron Woods model? Alba model says not for use on BAJA model. If there the same now is a new CDI even needed?

I think its the other way around, the standard ds now has the baja CDI.
the ALBA CDI costs more then the rw\pami cdi's beacouse it has a rev limit, its jast higher, and i think its the cdi as in the bmw f650, weach basecly has the same motor

All true - standard and baja have same rev limit for '03, but its still too low.
Alba unit has limit, but so does the graydon unit.
Alba just likes to jack the price on stuff they sell - $100 for a rev limit! yikes!
I don't worry about the rev limiter - if I rev it too high its my own fault, not the ignition's.
