i would look into hpd or hotseat the hpd produces 7 to 8 horsepower. forget the price i think its around 350 but you can go to there website. I just bought a whitebrothers e-series for my scrambler just the slip on it was only 200. Hope this helps

The HPd website is wrong. The pipe for the Scrambler 500 only gives you a 4.5 HP gain. I heard a lot of good things about this pipe. It goes for $304.95 for the whole exhaust system. I also recomend a clutch kit FROM THE SAME COMPANY that you buy your pipe from.

HotSeat claims their pipe gives a 5 horspower gain. Either way you can't go wrong with HotSeat or HPd. Just make sure you get a clutch kit with the pipe to get the best performance.

You can get the complete Supertrapp IDS2 for less than $200 and it looks great and puts out good power.

I'd leave the stock pipe on it. You can still do clutch mods if you want better take off or mid range. The pipe is a waste on the 500. These quads are hard to soup up for a cheap price. Puting a pipe on one is not going to make any substantial difference but it will make a different sound. I raced my stock scrambler in 300 ft grass drags against piped scramblers and there was no huge difference. I got second place to a moded 400 two stroke. He smoked me!!! Those guys I beat had clutch kits and pipes. All for nothing it seems. Save your money and get some alum rims and some Holeshot tires. You will thank me later!! By the way. I did see one of those 500 2wd black scrammys and it had a bunch of things done to it. He was real fast. He beet a lot of 400ex's and Z400's because of his auto tranny being so consistent. He had a bunch of money in his quad though.
