sorry, I could not reply to your pm. Anyways, my 2002 model number 300 Cannondale cannibal has been the quad of my dreams. I bought it in spring last year. I found a dealer that had a speciel on it as a demo model. I got it will brand new itps and plastic on it so it looked brand new. I paid $6200 for it out the door. Prior to buying this quad I had a 400ex and a decked out 250r. In comparison to those quads, I feel the cannibal has the power of the 250r or a raptor. The cannibal has a little higher maintanence. An oil change on the cannibel will take you a good half hour to an hour. You should change oil a little more often on the cannibal, since the motor is so high performance. The air filter is easy to get to. Just remove the front plastic. You will never half to do any mods to the motor of the cannondale. The raptor is a good quad but with my experiance it is fast, but not race track fast. It seems tippy in corners if your moving fast. You could widen it out but that costs money.
The only problem I have had with my cannibal is replaceing parts that I brake in a roll over (bad story). Never fouled a plug or replaced something that wore out prematurely.
Price wise you could find good deals on both quads used.
Normal maintenance with either quad should be done. Lube moving parts, oil changes, checking all bolts for tightness. All the little stuff that is easy to do on a sunday after riding.
I hope that helps. If you would like more pm me back.

i would definetely go with a predator or a raptor i would get a predator over a raptor get a predator because it would beat a raptor if they were both stock even if the raptor has a bigger engine but get a limited edition predator there nice but 300$ more and a predator is cheaper

seeing that cannondale has declared bankruptcy and polaris reputation is not that great (JMO) I would go with the raptor. Check them all, sit on them, ride them and also check out latest edition of dirtwheels. That should answer all your questions.
