Default Holeshots on a Wolverine?

I have the stockers on my Wolverine right now. originally I was thinking of going with my stock rims and some 6-ply dirt devils all around. I was thinking about it lately and since modding my airbox and suff and the fact I will soon be getting my 2x4 kit I really don't have a desire to do lots of bogging any more. It was never the best for it anyways. I was thinking of going with smaller (between 20 and 22 because stockers are 23) on aftermarket rims. Any reccomendations on this. I know I will loose a little bit of top speed but that doesn't really bother me cause I don't drag with a wolverine. It should increase my acceleration and because I mostly do woods riding I don't need a top speed as much as I want whip in the trails. Just looking for ideas/opinions on the idea cause I haven't seen one set up like that before. I was thinking like 21"ers

Are you going to put 21" all the way around if you do this. I would like to see some pics when and if you get it done.

yea it would have to be the same all around. with a 4x4 you have to keep the same ratio front to back or there will be overspin because of the gearing of the front wheels

Yeah I was going to say that you need to have the same in the front and back due to the gear ratio. I think it would look pretty good but I don't know how it would handle.

I have been trying to picture our wolvy with 4 of my balster rear holeshots on it. With a 10 inch tire it would be a fun machine to ride. Wish some custom wheel spacers, there would be no problem with the bolt pattern.

I was thinking of getting the aluminum wheel spacers from Highlifter all the way around

The problem with that is your rims will not be desigened for the wolvy, and you will need to adapt your stock hub to your new rim. Just some food for thought...
