Give me 1 good reason not to get a trinity IV
#4
WEASELE DOES.
That pipe is LOUD!!!!!!!!! THERE IS YOUR REASON. I had one for a while and encountered leakes at the muffler and were one of the pipes joined the headpipe. With the dual pipes running from the front to the back it was hard to keep looking good with out a lot of work. It is a good looking pipe though. What look better if the muffler was polished instead of satin finish

I have it. I bought it off 14mins.
Pros: Loud (I like loud), but once the S/A is on it, it's not bad at all.
Excellent Power increase, with a nice curve all the way up - got 45.4hp on the Dyno with it last weekend. Stock tires and all
Great Looks, I get compliments on it all the time
Not common, most places you go, you won't see too many of these (unlike WB & Yoshi)
Cons: It's a more work to keep clean and looking good than other pipes. Takes more care than most would put into it.
The slight leak where the silencer and midpipe come together (fixed with high heat silicone sealant). I don't have the leak at the midpipe though
I like the pipe, not dissapointed at all. I was a little at first b/c after going for a few extremely muddy rides in November, the pipe looked like $hit. All it took was some sandpaper though and she cleaned right up, almost as good as new. I'm guessing I'll prolly do it 1-2 times a year to keep it looking good all the time. The silncer would look better polished, but it still looks sharp. It is by far the loudest pipe I've heard without a Spark Arrestor...followed closely by the Duncan Racing Fat Boy 4 pipe. But with teh S/A on it, it is very very reasonable. I ride w/o the SA except when I have too
It performed well on the dyno, netting a 45.4hp with my airbox, jet kit, and stock tires at 9psi
My other pipe choices would be a Yoshi Titanium, DMC Alien, or the Duncan Fat Boy 4 out of the ones I've messed with.
Alot of the guys here like the MBRP, but I have no experience with it. Only thing I noticed about it though from the videos of FSWII posted, is that I don't think I'm a fan of the sound of that pipe. But that may change if I ever see/hear one in person.

Thanks weasel, the cleaning thing is the only thing holding me back, I will definately take that into consideration. Thank You for your input. 45 would be nice.

When I was looking to get a twin tubed pipe system I looked at the Trinity and the DMC Alien and the only thing I didn't like about the Trinity was the 2 pipes go into one silencer and the pipes were only 1 inch and the Alien has two all the way to the back into the silencer, and the Alien pipes are 1.25 each

I have a CT pipe and love it.. Im not trying to start anything so, yeah. Anywho I had a problem with a leak at the 2into1 section and figured out that you need to remove the exhaust gaskets at the head. But yes the trinity does look trick, but where I live everyone has the CT pipe, so I got that one. But the one guy that studied the pipes know both Harry at trinity and Alan at CT, and I wanted the most power and I like the noise...
