The acdelco PF 2057 works great. I've run it for quite some time....my friends have ran it with absolutely no problems also. I would definitely recommend it.

I run the AC 2057. That all we can afford in the trailer park.

Auto Zone also carries a Bosch that will fit it. I think the number is 3323. Actually, when I first researched using a filter other than OEM, I found that the thread size (M20) matches a '97 Mazda Mini Van V6. Just cross it with the brand you are looking for but be warned not all brands for the Mazda will fit it. Some will not tighten enough to seal the gasket and blow the oil out in short order. I know from experience. I think it was the Fram and Puralator. But you can not go wrong with the A/C 2057. I have been using the Bosch since June with no problems either. Both are a little longer than the OEM, but that is what I was after, a little more filter capacity and still not be to long as to get in your way.

Kind of a guessing game some time. I think I usually use about 2 1/2 qts.

Sam.

I use the Bosch 3300. Its black and is almost the same size as stock. Its about 1/2" longer. Works great. You have a black quad, thats what you might want to use. I also have a blue Raptor as you know. I'll be useing the STP 6607 oil filter for it next oil change, same filter as Bosch 3300 only it's Blue . This one is a filter a lot of people use AC Delco 2057 and it's also Blue.

Keep in mind also, that some of the filters do not have a by-pass valve in them. Look in the bottom of the filter and you should be able to see it.

Bosch 3300
STP 6607

Both of these have the bypass. I haven't looked at or tried the AC Delco but if memory serves, others have stated it also has the bypass.
