I realize that you have to drain both the case and reservoir which is a real mess. But when it comes time for the fill up, the damn reservoir will fill before the needed quantity is reached, WTF??? What I do is turn her over one revolution and it sucks a little oil in. Anyone else have a better suggestion? Thanks

Just rev it 3 tp 5 times, then add the extra oil. don't run it for a minute. that's straight from the owners manual.

Might be obvious, but I fill up the oil filter also. And I do what Moose said. No problems here.

Definatley easier the second time around... My first time it looked like the Exxon Valdez had crashed into my garage..lol I'm presently siphoning a little oil out of the res right now. Hard to get that amount exact.

Have a great day, and don't forget to help a buddy.

Heres what I do. To drain the oil tank. I cut the top half of a 2 litre bottle of coke (Pepsi) your beverage of choice will do. Cut the bottle length wize, not from top to bottom.. Stick it under the drain bolt after I loosen it a bit. Then unscrew it with my fingers. The oil goes into the 2 litre bottle and into your 5-7 gallon oil storage drum and not onto the frame. A piece of cardboard folded in half will work also. As for the case drain. Tip it on its side a little and it won't drain onto the skid plate. As for the oil filter removal. Anything short of turning it on its side all the way will result in some oil spilage. I put a rag under the filter and poke it in all creases to soak up the oil when I remove it. Spray some degreaser on things that got oil on em and wash her up.
