Anybody using the Moose Fly EZ-adjust clutch perch on a Raptor ?
#1
I'm doing away with the parking brake components and am shopping for a good replacement clutch perch. I've heard bad reports on the MSR so it's not in the running. I've heard the Works connection EZ-adjust (+$100) is the best. How about the Moose Fly EZ-adjust ($50) ? It has bearings and dust boots and looks like nice quality.
Anybody using one ?
Just shopping around - thanks, Eric

Compare these pics:
Works Connection Pro-Perch ($125)
Moose Fly Clutch Perch ($50)
They both come complete with lever and dust boots.
Hmmm...they look pretty similar ????

I own a MSR, a Moose fly EZ-adjust, an EMGO, and a sunline. The MSR was on my atc250r when I bought it. It is now in the bottom of my tool box and a stocker is in its place. Hard to adjust and I just didn't like it.
I bought the Sunline for my 250x. This is by far my favorite one. It takes about 20 minutes to install verses about 10 on the others. You have to disassemble it to install it. Although I just bought it about 3 years ago, I couldn't find another one when I bought the last two.
I then bought the Moose. Moose makes two different versions. The fly is the cheaper one. It worked great. Last month I wrecked and broke the adjuster **** (the part that the cable goes into). You would think you should be able to buy a replacement **** right? Or at least an perch and **** together right?Wrong. I have to buy a whole setup again.
For the price, you can't beat the EMGO that I have. They just came out last year and they are great. About $10 bucks cheaper than the moose also.
All in all, if I could find another sunline, I would by it over the others. Looks the best, easiest to adjust, all around great addition. Amongst the other brands, I would go with the EMGO though. Moose would have been my second choice before I tried to buy parts for it.

Alky,
Thanks for the info - I can't seem to find any sources for EMGO on the net. Do you know where I can check one out on-line.
Thanks, Eric

www.emgo.com. They don't have their pages current though so they don't have a picture up their. PM me with your E-mail address and I will take some pictures of mine installed and try to send them to you. Kind of looks cheap, but construction is actually better than the moose in my opinion.

This is the EMGO. I had forgot that it is also adjustable for how close it is to the handlebars. The moose and sunline are not.

I notice that most of these are easy adjust setups, but how many of them are easy pull setups? I ripped my RTC lever off this weekend and was debating on whether to replace the lever or buy a new assembly that sells less costly replacement levers. Thanks for the help.
