Default Z400 dyno??

I have searched lots of websites and looked at their dynos. Lots of them say that it produces 29 hp, but in the dirtwheels mag it says 32. Also lots of them show the dyno ending at like 62 mph, i thought it was more along the lines of 70 mph? Any help would be appreciated.

I think the DW article was a stock Z with airbox lid off and jetting. That may be the difference.

Default Z400 dyno??

At FSW's the dyno was in mph. They had 2 Z400 on it. The showed 60-62 mph. A stock raptor pulled to 71-72. Hp was 26-28 for the z( one was piped) and 31hp for a brand new raptor.

The Z tops out at about 68-70 and the Raptor tops out at about 74-76

Default Z400 dyno??

all i have to say you cant believe a magazine. i know 4 a fact "and just to make sure i was right i clocked it a few other times" that my z has hit between 73-75 mph. and every raptor i raced down the road yes has beat me in stock trim but only by about 2 mph, they would barely pull on me.

The tires they used on Ohtons dyno were smaller then stock weren't they?? If so, that's the reason for low top speeds..
