Default Hey people, READ THIS. :)

I'm really looking for a Banshee, but in my search, a '97 on the east coast in good shape with all kinds of goodies (pipes, motor mods, suspension, etc.) is around $3K, whereas a '97 with just pipes here in on the west coast is $4K or MORE. What's up with this? Why do we (west coast) think that our bikes are worth this much? I mean, even Colorado has bikes at reasonable prices, not like here in CA/OR/WA. I would be happy to pay $4K for a bike that has all kinds of goodies already on it, but $4K for one with just pipes? Come on guys, depreciation happens. Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting something for really cheap, but just look at the price differences... I was looking at some of those quads, but I'm not over there, I'm stuck here in beautiful California where the taxes are high, gas is outrageous, the women are blonds, and the quads are expensive. How much would it cost to ship a quad, anyone know?
