i know that stock vs. stock the raptor has more power and all but how would a raptor do against a race 400ex. im talking w/ a pipe, motor mods, etc. what would u have to do to make a 400ex faster and have more power?

 

There are some fast 400's out there. I think a 465 on alky would be real hard to catch. I believe there are some on these boards running that.

Could probably be real fast with a 440, with the right setup.

why not just get a raptor and do that stuff to it?..........then you will have a real machine!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I raced a fully race modded 416ex with ALOT of stuff done to it on my raptor and my sisters 300r (modified) and beat it on both bikes by about 4 to 6 bike lengths up a non-steep short hill. Hope this kinda answers your question
