Default Website help.

Hey guys,
I'm currently trying to make my own website using Tripod but for some reason everytime I preview the page its ALWAYS off centered to the left...Its done that with my past 2 web sites and its really anoying me. How can I center the page? Another thing...Are there any other places I can build a better website than the ones Tripod offers? I would apriciate any help, thanks.

Is the tripod web page builder a WSIWYG? What you see is what you get? If so just move what you want to the center and save it. If not, then learn HTML and make your pages with an HTML program and build better websites.

Here is a great website to use to learn HTML. In the upper right hand corner of the page it says download. You can download all the web files to your computer and use it offline to help learn HTML.

All you need is Notepad and some knowledge of HTML to make a web page. Of course web space helps to.

Here is a great HTML editing program for free instead of useing Notepad.

Hey,
Thanks for your help guys. I think i'm going to hold off on the HTML for a while. Untill I can get alittle better at the basic stuff. I'll try angelfire, but I don't have FrontPage, Is there any other program similar to it thats free to download? One other option...What do you guys think of the Yahoo Page Builder, It really easy but when I've used it, it only lets me do one page, how do I make multipul pages out of it, if you know how? Thanks again
