How about the new GasGas 450 4-stroke??
#2
I talked to GasGas last night and was told that (2) 450's have made there way to dealers one was in Iowa and he couldn't remember where the other went to off hand. He said they are expecting a shipment of them in a week or 2 so they will be at the dealers in about 4 weeks or so. That's about all the info I have on the 450's. I'll be posting some race results on my 300 as soon as the season gets under way (Feb 23). I'll also post all the details of how I have the machine set-up and all the goodies that I've added to it along with some pics of the quad in action after the first couple of rounds so look for these posts in the racing section in early to mid March.

Hey guys,
The other 450 was delivered in Arizona a few weeks ago. A Father and Son bought a 300 and the 450. Hard Rock Gas Gas in Phoenix has delivered 6 300's and 1 450. I think I am gonna take the other 450, it's due in by the 22nd. He has a 300 on the floor that has not been purchased. Big news, Gas Gas has changed the front shocks to a traditional dual rate set-up, the rear has been changed / updated [I'm not sure how] and the front a-arms have new geometry that provides an extra inch of front travel.
Mike, the owner of Hard Rock, said that the 300 and 450 are almost identical in acceleration through 4 gears then the 450 pulls ahead on top.
Mike T,
I've got pix of the new 300 front end if you are interested.

Thanks for the update. And yes I am interested in the pics of the front end. Please send them to:

Thanks again. My 300 has the dual rated fronts so I'm interested in seeing the difference between the new version and mine. I bet they moved the airbox up in the rear and maybe shorten the shock linkage. Let me know if you find out anything. Thanks again.

thanks for sending the pics-
from what it looks like, they eliminated the bracing on the A-arms, went to smaller diameter and lengthened shocks. i like the way it looks, it cleans up the appearances some.... i'd like to see one in person with the new setup.
