I had an 84 with a 310 kit...it was reliable..however, there are like no parts out there for them so if u were to thrash on it too hard you might be sh*t out of luck...

There are a ton of aircooled R parts out there, you just have to search for them, servicehonda.com partsfish.com dennis kirk.com 3wheeler sites like 3wheelerworld or 3wheeler.org Ebay has a few things for the aircooleds but you really have to keep an eye out. there are a bunch of aircooleds out there running today, I just did a restore on a 84 and I'm getting set to work on my 82 here soon. heck I picked up a oldschool DG head here the other day for my new motor. Good luck!

I recently purchased a water cooled head for my 83 250r atc. My first question is will I benifit from this conversion (I live in phoenix, Az). My second question is how many different manufactures make these? I ran into one on Ebay it was made by Rands in bakersfield, Ca. It was a two peice round head. I just picked this other one uo locally from a wrecking yard, it has no labels or numbers. It's one piece, rectagular, I also have the radiator. My final question is mu head bolts aren't long enough andthe holes are a larger diameter so I need some kind of sholdered bolt for this. Hasd anyone ever heard of this design?
