Default 250ex tires???

What size of tires and what brand do you recomend. I just bought a 250ex fopr my kid. I want a smaller tire than a 22 in the rear front.

i bought 6ply holeshots on douglas .190 rims. good clearance but a little heavy. my razors off my 250r are 20" and makes it rev out faster. i like the 22's better but i should've went 4 ply.

I want to put 20 inchers on the back to slow him down a little. We do not ride thru to much rough stuff, so i want a lighter tire. What brand

they are about the same. i like the razors' looks better with the "razor" on the side. made by maxxis.

The 250 is a bit tippy, and "pushes" (understeers) a little in turns. New tires cured both!! I have ITP Holeshot XC's (22" front/20" rear) on ITP rims. The nice thing about the ITP rims is that they are wider and have a larger offset than Douglas or stock. So, the bike ends up +2" wider in front and +3" wider in rear, which cures the tippiness!

Use the Kenda Klaws on the front and back. The Hole Shots do not work in wet grass. The Hole Shots are way over priced too. The Klaws should run $45.00 ea. for the front and $55.00 ea. for the back.

I would recommend 18" Shredders because they are light, wide, and they last a long time(unlike holeshot).
