Me and my buddy were out playin with our Pred's yesterday in the cold, just on a homemade MX track at a buddy's farm, nothin special just a few sweet jumps, anyways when we went back to the shop to warm up and thaw the pred's from snow-drift drivin, we decided to remove his end-cap on his stock exhaust. Removed the three 8mm nuts on the end-cap and WALL-LA, a sweet sounding exhaust. We rode it without the end-cap for about 20 minutes!! It does sound sweet if you ask me. Would he have to worry about anything if he just decided to leave it off and ride like that? The pred seemed to have run just fine with it off..

 

It will not hurt anything at all. You can even run it without the silencer but it would be really loud. You might even get a little more power because of no restriction.

 

Im not too sure on this, but wouldnt this kinda not be good? I mean the stock pipe is tuned for the bike..you add a bigger pipe..you usually gotta re-jet...so wouldnt taking the end cap off the bike, increase exhaust flow?? Maybe even hurt performance..

 

In my oppinion i wouldnt not be good for the machine because you increased air flow and its like adding an aftermarket exhaust without rejeting it would make it run leaner.

 

Is it not fast enough for you? I wouldnt risk hurting that nice of a machine for a little more power or sound. Its fine stock and thats how its made to be.

 

Doesn't it have packing and stuff inside it?? Wouldn't that all blow out??

Also...I dont think it would be a good thing without rejetting it. But I could be wrong.
