Mud tire dangers
#1
Is it true that if you start to put big tires, lift kits and the like on your fourwheelers that you will need new CV joints and that king of stuff in the future? I read that in a magazine, and am wondering if I should really get some bigger tires for our fourwheeler now.
Any information is good!

Usually, where you run into problems, is when you run a tall lift and really big tires (28").
The lift increases the angles on your CV joints, the tires increase the effort needed to turn the CV joints by your engine, therefore, bam!
25", 26", 27" or even 28" tires alone won't usually cause any problems.
